TUBA BUYUKUSTUN Interview on Kara Para Ask

Tuba Buyukustun gave interview about her recent project KPA. she will play Elif in the series.

Here I am sharing you with Tuba Buyukustun's interview about her leading drama KARA PARA ASK.


Interviewer: In an interview you said that the chemistry between the leading actors is very important. Does it exist between you and Engin Akyürek?


Tuba: I came in the project when the shootings have already been started. Engin' scenes were finished at that time. We are filming together since two weeks. it's going well.


Inteviewer: From the trailers it looks like there is harmony.


Tuba: Thanks. We also thing and feel this way.


Interviewer: What's KPA?


Tuba: Fascinating and complicated love story. I loved the script and read it with curiosity. Nowadays there are not much such interesting scenarios to read.


Interviewer: How did you get involved with the project?


Tuba: When I read the script in October - November , the production was meant to start. I wanted to have time for my family and to relax. I didn't feel ready but some parts of scenario stayed in my mind. Months passed, and we met for this project again. I had a chance to rest and to spend time with my family. And the shootings began.


Interviewer: What kind of a person is the character you portray?


Tuba: She is from an upper class family, Elif is the middle child. Family is proud of her. She has her own jewelry shop in Rome. Her parents and sisters go visit her. She is the daddy darling. They are very attached to each other. The story begins when she comes to istanbul to see her family on her Birthday. It's a love story, but different from the classic love stories we know.


Interviewer: There is a sentence in the trailer "You can trust everyone until the first lie". How this sentence reflects the story?


Tuba: Elif things they are very happy family. Her mother, Zerin is dominant character, trying to keep family together and in perfect state, like in her dreams.Elif even leaving abroad from her sisters is the one to keep balance in the family. Her family is proud of her, she is her fathers darling...But the reality is different and Elif will be hurt when she learns things she didn't know. She will be getting to know different faces of the people she has been trusting. people she trusted lead different lives. The only one she will trust will be Ömer who she newly got know.The sentence will not only effect Elif but all the characters.


Interviewer: What makes Elif-Ömer love story different?


Tuba: With the time the magic of love doesn't grow, soul mates find each other, and it becomes a legend, said writers. In this sense E&O will be different. They live very different lives but with similar values. They have to deal with loss of the loved ones. Events will happen very different to what they except and they will have to react fast. Living completely different lives, the will step on common path, dealing with their own and the others pain. Their relationship will be build on this path, where there is no one to trust, exploring each others dramatic developments. I think the audience will get involved with excitement in this.
