It’s confirmed that Meryem Uzerli (Hurrem Sultan) in Mera Sultan is replaced with another actress Vahide Gördüm in the show.They just showed a preview of the final episode and Hurrem was played by Vahide Gördüm. It’s now official that they have replaced Meryem Uzerli & now Vahide will play this role in rest of the series.
Why ?

ReplyDeleteWhy someone so old? No one else has aged in the movie. She was the heart of the movie why not pay her more? I didn'think the Turkish movie industry is like USA. We see plenty of that here. Sad!!!!!

No someone else should be casted ....vahide gordum is totally not suitable for the character of hurrem sultan.....or meryem uzerli should be offered to come back !!

ReplyDeleteFor whatever reason, it was a big mistake to lose Meryem Uzerli. The new Hurrem is not only older and plain looking, but also a really poor actor with a terrible performance. I actually stopped watching the series that I loved so much after Meryem’s departure.
